Get ready to START YOUR ENGINES! Session selection for Region 10's Charter School Academy for Teachers will begin on February 14th. Registration for the event and selection of sessions are TWO SEPARATE steps to ensure you are at the Starting Line and Ready for the Checkered Flag.
Step One - All participants must enroll on the official Region 10 site. Most of the folks that have made it to the page - have registered. Use the link and register if you have not already done so. After you have registered - proceed to Step 2..Step Two - Select your sessions! Select schedule and review the sessions offered. Sessions marked in red - will be added or "pinned" to your schedule automatically (Keynote, Breaks, Lunch). Every participant will choose 4 sessions for Thursday and 2 sessions on Friday. To select the session - click on the session - read the description - and if you want to select - click the upper left hand corner of the pop-up box that says "Add to My Schedule." Repeat as needed to fill your schedule. (Please note that Classroom Management for New Teachers - 0-3 years experience - is a "double-session" and therefore you will only select three total sessions for Thursday.)
When selecting your first session - you will be asked for your name and your email address. Use the name and email address associated with your Region 10 account that you used in Step 1. Failure to do so, will result in your schedule being cancelled. Schedules are required to enter each of the sessions - they are the "entry ticket."
