About me
Finishing my 2t7h year in education and my second year as a program coordinator at Region 10. Began my educational career as a high school government, law and economics teacher, mock trial coach, law internship coordinator and AP GoPo reader, table leader and question leader. Had the privilege to be appointed principal to both an ISD and charter high school - Judge Barefoot Sanders Law Magnet at the Townview Magnet Center (DISD) and International Leadership of Texas Garland High School (Charter and Private Schools). Have served in various central administration roles including Chief of Staff and Area Superintendent. A life-long servant leader whose "why" remains constant - to remove educational barriers and marshal resources so that students can achieve their goals and dreams supported by caring and empathetic adults.
