Sound Foundations: Building Early Phonological Awareness Skills is an engaging, hands-on session to developing phonological awareness in pre-K learners. Through playful activities like rhyming games, syllable clapping, sound sorting, and word-building challenges, young children strengthen their ability to recognize and manipulate sounds—essential skills for future reading success. With a focus on interactive and multi-sensory learning, this program helps little learners "lay the foundation" for strong literacy skills in a fun and meaningful way!

Children’s literature offers an avenue through which to teach students to be good citizens, understand the basic foundations of government, and explore historical figures. Law-Related Education uses books and complimentary activities to link social studies with reading and language arts. Teachers will receive an LRE created children’s book list aligned to the TEKS, LRE lessons that incorporate the books, and engaging resources to use in the classroom.  (K-5)
